Another Successful Day For Women’s Rowing at Pac-12 Invitational

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The University of Pennsylvania women’s rowing team had another successful day at the Pac-12 Invitational on Sunday, coming home with a race win and outstanding performances from both Eights.

Varsity Eight
Penn’s 15th-ranked boat continued to show it belongs, taking second in a race that once again featured four ranked boats. The Quakers clocked 7:10.36 across Lake Las Vegas’ 2,000-meter course which had them a little more than two seconds behind 18th-ranked Oregon State (7:07.84). However, that time had Penn finishing more than three seconds ahead of Cal’s third-ranked boat (7:13.52) and SMU’s 16th-ranked boat (7:13.91).
